Bulgar Eden Enterprise Co., LTD participated in the 2025 Annual Seminar and the 3rd General Assembly of the Taiwan Post-Tensioning Institute (TPTI). As one of the most important annual events in Taiwan’s post-tensioning community, the conference brought together experts from industry, academia, public agencies, and research institutions, providing an excellent platform for technical exchange and professional dialogue.
Chairman Clayton Liu delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the association’s recent achievements. Under his steady leadership, TPTI has seen significant growth in membership and increasing participation in professional events. His background as Executive Vice President at T.Y. Lin International Group further adds substantial credibility to the association. His dedication to advancing post-tensioning engineering has contributed greatly to strengthening the industry’s professional foundation.
The seminar featured a rich set of topics, including bridge maintenance systems, cable vibration assessment, dynamic strain monitoring, external tendon inspection technologies, and major engineering case studies. A highlight of the event was the keynote speech “A Tale of Two Bridges,” delivered by world-renowned structural engineer Dr. Wen-Chung Teng. His comparative discussion of the Pine Valley Creek Bridge in the United States and the Shibanpo Bridge in China provided valuable insights into landmark prestressed concrete structures.
We also extended our acknowledgment to Mr. Liao Chun-Yuan, Vice President of Dywidag-Systems International (DSI Taiwan). Despite being a competitor in the market, DSI has long maintained a positive professional relationship with our leadership. Mr. Liao’s presentation on cable vibration countermeasures for the Tamkang Bridge was thorough and highly informative, reflecting his extensive expertise in cable-supported structures.
Through this event, Bulgar Eden gained deeper insight into emerging engineering trends while strengthening connections with key experts and industry partners. We will continue to refine and advance our BE Post-Tensioning system, aiming to provide safe, reliable, and high-quality solutions for major infrastructure projects in Taiwan and internationally.
